Caitlin & Charlie are recent transplants from Brooklyn to Chicago.  They picked a spot in Rogers Park that was meaningful to them because Caitlin’s parents used to live right around the corner when they were their age!  I had so much fun chatting with them throughout the whole shoot that by the end of it we all felt like friends.  (Perhaps this feeling was helped along by my encouragement that they have a little drink  to ease any nervousness about being in front of the camera prior to the shoot.  I’m happy they took me up on it!)  It’s funny how many times my couples tell me that they were so nervous before the shoot, and then how happy and relaxed they felt after we got going.  I promise I’m not scary!  Photo sessions are super fun!  Just look like you love each other and you can’t go wrong.  (It’s only when the photographer *forces* you to look like you love each other that scary things happen.  Like this.)
