I love finding beauty in unexpected places.
Since moving to Los Angeles I’ve discovered so many amazing facets of the city that make it unique. In addition to the incredible architecture, I’m quickly becoming enamored of the fantastic street art scene in Los Angeles. (In addition to following a number of blogs, I recently picked up this beautiful, engrossing book on the subject of the LA street art community.) I love gritty, urban environments just as much as I love the picturesque beauty of mountains and the ocean, and much like the gawkers parked along the PCH with their cameras in hand, I’ve been known to pull off the road (semi-legally) to photograph amazing murals and colorful graffiti that stops me in my tracks. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably gotten a taste of my newest obsession, but I wanted to share some more seriously cool works of art on the blog too. I’m always on the lookout for unique backdrops for photo sessions for my engaged couples (or couples feeling particularly adventurous on their wedding day), so if an urban vibe is your style, here are some sweet options for street art and industrial locations!
