I love how quickly a baby’s expression changes from moment to moment, and one of my favorites from Alec’s shoot was his “look of wonder,” as his dad phrased it. Babies totally get this wide-eyed, intense look on their faces and you can almost see their little wheels turning as they try to process whatever it is that’s happening in the world around them. Alec was doing a lot of thinking and processing and giggling and drooling during our shoot in and around his family’s home downtown. Mom & dad were so wonderfully welcoming and at ease during our whole session, and Alec clearly has inherited his parents’ easy-going nature. And to add to the fun, we got to do some photos with their sweet little dog too! Beautiful baby + adoring parents + family pet = one very happy photographer.
