Bombay Beach Biennale: Salton Sea Art Festival

Some highlights from this obscure, two-day art festival in the half-mile-by-half-mile semi-desolate town of Bombay Beach on the edge of the Salton Sea. I ran myself into the ground shooting for 10-13 hour stretches, and it was wonderful. I think my fondest memory was standing in a giant pile of garbage, shooting a lecture on women in philosophy held in an decaying building covered in graffiti.
