Alejandra and Jason met while studying public policy at Berkeley. Jason was a year ahead of Alejandra in school and was assigned to be her “Gold Buddy,” an older student who could be a helpful resource in getting acclimated to the program.
While most of Alejandra’s family traveled from her native Colombia, the family owns a vineyard in Napa where the event was hosted. They wanted to incorporate personal touches (like their love for gin with a “Build your own G&T” bar at cocktail hour) and their love for wine country with a romantic vineyard aesthetic.
